UPDATE, 6.22pm: CityLink is closed outbound at Moreland Road.
Traffic is very heavy from the Bolte Bridge.
CityLink and VicRoads advise drivers to use alternate routes.
Drivers caught on the Freeway are being directed by Police through emergency gates at Dean street, then via Pascoe Vale Road at Bell Street.
Mt Alexander Road, Brunswick Road outbound entry ramps have also been closed.
Airport-bound traffic is advised to use the West Gate Freeway/Western Ring Road.
