V-Line Structural Engineers advise that the road will be closed till at least 1.00pm today (or until area is declared safe for vehicles by structural engineers)

VicRoads and Emergency Services are on the way to the scene.
VicRoads advises drivers to expect heavy delays and to seek an alternative route.

VicRoads advises that due to the recent weather conditions experienced in Victoria, the Barwon River is expected to reach minor flood levels at approximately 12.00am tonight.
Breakwater Road is most likely to be affected with minor flooding expected along Barrabool Road at the McIntyre Bridge.
Should Breakwater Road flood at the causeway, it will be closed at the Barwon Heads Road intersection (detouring traffic to the Princes Highway West toward the city centre) and at the Tucker Street intersection (detouring traffic to Leather Street then back to the Boundary Road/Fellmongers Road intersection).
