The Highway has been closed due to a serious accident.Detour is via Taggerty-Thornton Rd and the Maroondah Highway. Motorists are advised to allow extra time.

Road Closed - Vehicle Collision
Road closed between Alexandra and Thornton, due to a serious collision. If you need to travel between Eildon and Alexandra, use Taggarty-Thornton Road and the Maroondah Highway instead. This closure is under the control of emergency services and will re-open when investigations are complete.
