Traffic Alert
Roads that are closed as a result of bad weather or flooding will be listed on the VicRoads website - go to vicroads.vic.gov.au/floods. If you cannot access the internet or are concerned about travelling on roads not listed on the site, contact the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre on 13 11 70 (24 hours a day, 7 days week). When driving, local radio reports are the best source of road condition information. Drivers are asked to be extra careful when driving on the roads across Victoria as storms may cause slippery conditions, flash flooding and reduce visibility. As flash flooding can ease quickly not all roads affected will be listed on the VicRoads website or communicated via Traffic Alerts. (TP)12/01/2011 11:48 AM Until 5/03/2011 7:45 PM
