VicRoads advises drivers travelling from Melbourne to Torquay to take the Princes Highway through Geelong to the Surf Coast Highway and to avoid the Geelong Ring Road at Waurn Ponds during peak periods.VicRoads advises drivers to be aware of variable message signs advising delays and detours.

The northern section of Wilsons Promontory is now open for day visitation between the park entrance and Darby River Bridge.
Wilsons Promontory Road remains closed beyond Darby River Bridge due to damage sustained in late March as a result of heavy rain.
Areas now accessible include, Millers Landing, Vereker Outlook, Cotters Lake, Big Drift and Hourigans Lane.
