VicRoads advises drivers to take care on roads throughout Victoria.
VicRoads is asking drivers to be cautious when travelling on roads due to potential flash flooding being experienced in various locations across the state, including Melbourne.
Because flash flooding can ease quickly not all roads affected will be able to be listed on the VicRoads website or communicated via Current Alerts.
VicRoads is advising drivers to listen to radio reports for current conditions or call the VicRoads Traffic Management Centre on 13 11 70.
Drivers should avoid driving in severe storms as visibility may be reduced and flash flooding can be often be sudden and severe, resulting in dangerous driving conditions.
