UPDATE, 11.15am: Westbound lanes are now open to all traffic between Punt Road and Chapel Street.
Eastbound lanes are now open to trams, with one lane closed to allow pedestrian access.
Citipower crews are still on site repairing damage to the pole.

The event will take participants through South Melbourne, across the West Gate Bridge, through Altona, Werribee, Geelong, Queenscliff and Sorrento and lane closures should be expected from 4.00am - 6.00pm.
There will be lanes closed in both directions on the West Gate Freeway at between 9.30am - 6.00pm
Two lanes will be closed on the West Gate Bridge in both directions.
