Several major events and road closures will be taking place in Melbourne and Geelong this weekend, these include the AFL Grand Final, UCI World Road Cycling Championships and road closures on the CityLink Freeway.
VicRoads ask that drivers take care, particularly around major event sites where increased pedestrian activity will occur. We also recommend that drivers allow extra time if travelling in and around these areas and if possible, take public transport.
Heavy delays on Sunday morning are expected on the West Gate Freeway and the Princes Freeway Geelong-bound for the UCI event. For more information go to www.vicroads.vic.gov.au\uci .

UPDATE, 3.42pm: Road now open southbound only (only one lane still closed) after the crash/truck roll-over at the Albert Street intersection.
Police have closed Kingsway at Queens Road and Queens Road at Lakeside Drive travelling northbound.
All northbound traffic is advised to use St Kilda Road and Beaconsfield Parade.
VicRoads Incident Response Service are on site assisting Police with traffic management.
Heavy haulage tow truck is on site.
VicRoads advises drivers to expect heavy delays and to allow extra time if travelling through the area.
