Police have closed the outbound entry ramp to the Eastern Freeway, this includes a closure of the ramp to Alexandra Parade.
VicRoads Incident Response Service are on the way to the scene.
Access to the Eastern Freeway outbound at Alexandra Parade is not affected.
VicRoads advises drivers to expect heavy delays and to seek an alternative route if possible.

UPDATE, 2.56pm: Police have now open the left-hand lane of the outbound entry ramp to the Eastern Freeway.
The right-hand lane is still closed.
VicRoads Incident Response Service are on site assisting Police.
Heavy haulage tow truck is on the way to the scene.
VicRoads advises drivers to expect heavy delays and to allow extra time if travelling through this area.
