Batman Avenue and Punt Road exit ramps. Batman Avenue and Punt Road exit ramps from the Monash Freeway (CityLink) will be under Police control due to increased in traffic in the area for the Collingwood Football Club public training session at Gosch's Paddock. Drivers in and around the CBD should also be aware of the increased congestion and pedestrian activity associated with the Grand Final Parade. Traffic is also expected to be very heavy on roads surrounding the MCG precinct - including Punt Road, Hoddle Street, Bridge Road, Swan Street, Brunton Avenue, Olympic Boulevard and Batman Avenue. VicRoads and Police are also asking drivers to be aware of increased pedestrian activity in the area. Those wishing to attend the event are advised to use public transport.
