The following roads will be closed for the duration of the 2010 Snow Season (Friday 11 June to Monday 4 October) - Donna Buang Road, Warburton - between Pantons Gap and Mount Donna Buang Summit - Bogong High Plains Road, Falls Creek - between Falls Creek and the Omeo Highway VicRoads reminds motorists that wet and cold weather can reduce visibility and cause roads to be more slippery. Drivers should drive according to weather conditions, slow down and leave a greater distance between their vehicle and the one in front. Some roads in alpine areas may be affected by snow, ice or fog and drivers should carry chains and fit them if required. Road restricted to 4WD vehicles only due to snow cover Signs have been placed at north and south ends of the road advising of suitability for 4WD vehicles only. 2WD traffic are advised to use the Omeo Highway or the Great Alpine Road. Chains must be carried while driving on these roads. Drivers are asked to be extra careful when driving on the roads. Visibility may be affected and headlights should be used.
