All lanes closed northbound between Wellington Road and Normanby Road (just before Ferntree Gully Road) due to a fallen power pole.
Police are on site directing traffic.
The closure is directly outside the Monash University and the local Clayton business district so heavy delays are currently being experienced in the area.
Drivers are advised to use alternative arterial roads such as Springvale Road or Clayton Road if possible.
