There was no Google Maps component available so we had to use a custom system in order to get our application to work.

A lot has changed since then, and as of Snarl Traffic v1.5, which is going live in the App Store today, Snarl Traffic will now be using Google Maps. The app is a lot faster and smoother, and although opinion has been mixed, some for and some against, the existing maps, we feel this will be a great move and one that all our users will appreciate.

We hope that you enjoy the new version, and it serves you well over the Holiday season.

Merry Christmas, please stay safe on the roads, and thanks for a great 2010.
