Long delays are being experienced in both directions between Sale and Longford due to bridge works and intermittent closures over the Thompson River.To enable significant bridge building works to be carried out there will be delays of up to 15 minutes at a time. This will allow a crane to safely operate during this time to lift bridge beams into place next to the road.VicRoads urges all road users to plan trips ahead of time and factor in these delays.
