VicRoads asks drivers to take care if driving on roads in the South Western and Western regions of Victoria.  Various roads in the area have been affected by flash flooding, pot holes and falling debris.

Roads currently closed due to flooding include:

Cobden-Lavers Hill Road, Chapple Vale;
Great Ocean Road, Hordern Vale at Calder River (water over bridge) - diversions at Lavers Hill and Apollo Bay;
Timboon Colac Road, Simpson - closed in both directions between Cobden Port Campbell Road and Lavers Hill Road;
Woolsthorpe-Heywood Road, near Back Creek - between Nagorckaf Road and Tarrone Road.

Other roads affected by rain include:

Deans Marsh-Lorne Road;
Dunkeld-Cavendish Road, Cavendish area;
Hamilton Highway, east of Mortlake;
Hamilton Highway, west of Caramut;
Hopkins Highway, various locations;
Mortlake-Ararat Road;
Penshurst-Warranbool Road, near Tarrone Lane;
Princes Highway, west of Camperdown township;
