UPDATE, 6.08pm: Northbound traffic now open. One lane now open to traffic southbound between Plenty Road and Tyler Street after an earlier car vs. power pole crash
Traffic is still experiencing extremely heavy delays on Plenty Road between Kingsbury Drive passing the Metro Ring Road to McKimmes Drive

Road Closed - Emergency Incident
Shands Road, Main Ridge is closed due to a fallen tree near the intersection with Roberts Road.
SES crews are working to remove the tree and re-open the road as soon as posible.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative route.
