Hume Fwy at Boralma - slow lane closed due to a truck accident and speeds down to 40kph in the northbound lane. Police advise to drive with care in the area.

A northbound truck has left the road and become bogged in the centre median near Boralma-Rutherglen Rd. The right lane is closed to allow the truck to be salvaged. Right lane expected to remain closed until approx 4pm.

Road Closed - Flood
The Hume Freeway is currently closed both directions between Barnawartha and Wangaratta due to flooding.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at The Murray Valley Highway through to Cobram, then south on the Goulburn Valley Highway.
Northbound detours have been set up at the Goulburn Valley Highway for Sydney-bound traffic. Access to Benalla and Wangaratta is still possible but traffic heading further north should take The Goulburn Valley Highway. Traffic is being diverted through Shepparto
