As a result, roads may be slippery so drivers should slow down and drive according to the conditions. Headlights should be used if visibility is impaired and drivers should leave a greater distance between their own car and the one in front.
Flash flooding can often be sudden and severe, resulting in dangerous driving conditions. VicRoads reminds drivers to be careful when driving in locations where recent flash flooding has damaged or left water across roads.
