UPDATE: 9.45am - Road remains closed outbound between Burke Road and Warrigal Road due to a police incident.
The Yarra Boulevard and Toorak Road entry ramps to the Monash Freeway outbound are also closed.
Inbound traffic is heavy on approach from Forster Road.
Outbound traffic is heavy on approach from The Burnley Tunnel.
Outbound drivers are advised to use Dandenong Road as an alternative route.
Heavy vehicles travelling eastbound on the West Gate Freeway are advised to exit at Kings Way and use Dandenong Road as an alternative route.
