UPDATE, 3.57pm: Road closed in both directions between Quayle Road and Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road due to emergency works
VicRoads advises drivers to travel via Healesville on the Maroondah Highway and Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road in order to avoid delays.
Local detour in place is Quayle Road, Beenak Road and Healesville - Koo Wee Rup Road.
VicRoads advises drivers to allow extra time if travelling through the area.
