Sunday 22 to Friday 27 May, 8.00pm - 5.00am.
A temporary closure of the Bacchus Marsh exit ramp will be taking place. There will be a signed detour in place with traffic required to use the Gisborne Road exit to access Bacchus Marsh.
The works may also require the temporary closure of the Western Highway Ballarat-bound (westbound) between Bacchus Marsh Road and Gisborne Road. In the case that the highway is closed, traffic will exit the Western Highway at Bacchus Marsh Road exit and travel west along Main Street to re-enter the freeway at Bacchus Marsh Road (Pentland Hills).
Melbourne-bound (eastbound) traffic will be unaffected.

VicRoads is advising drivers heading to the snow on the weekend that the Great Alpine Road between Harrietville and Omeo has been restricted to 4WD and 2WD vehicles with chains only due to recent snow fall.
It is also possible that due to the current weather conditions in the area it is likely that ice may form on the road.
Other alpine areas may experience snow fall over the next few days and should check weather and road conditions before driving.
Drivers should be prepared to fit snow chains to their cars when directed by authorities. Signs will generally give the required directions.
