UPDATE, 3.17pm: Entry ramp from the West Gate Freeway closed (traffic from the West Gate Bridge)
Motorists travelling from the West Gate Bridge and Todd Road heading to the Bolte Bridge will need to detour via Montague Street.
The Bolte Bridge left lane will remain closed until 8.00pm, when two lanes will be closed to allow urgent works to be completed.
VicRoads advises drivers to allow extra time to complete their journey.

VicRoads is asking drivers to be cautious when travelling on roads as high winds are being experienced in various locations across the state, including Melbourne.
