UPDATE, 3.33pm: Road closed in both directions after an earlier crash, causing a truck to roll at the Albert Road intersection.
Police have closed Kingsway at Queens Road and Queens Road at Lakeside Drive travelling northbound.
Southbound lanes are closed at Park Street until the car is removed from the scene, traffic is being detoured via Park Street and St Kilda Road.
All northbound traffic is advised to use St Kilda Road and Beaconsfield Parade.
VicRoads Incident Response Service are on site assisting Police with traffic management.
VicRoads advises drivers to expect heavy delays and to allow extra time if travelling through the area.

All northbound traffic is advised to use St Kilda Road and Beaconsfield Parade.
The road is open southbound, only right-hand lane remains closed.
