UPDATE,3.00pm : Freeway remains closed inbound from Warrigal Road due to a crash on CityLink near the Gibdon Street overpass.
The Warrigal Road, Toorak Road and Burke Road inbound entry ramps are also closed.
Traffic is being diverted at Warrigal Road along Dandenong Road and to either Punt Road or Kings Way.
A 60km/h speed limit is in place on the Monash Freeway outbound between the Burnley Tunnel and Yarra Boulevard.
CityLink and VicRoads advises drivers to use care when driving past the scene to avoid the risk of a secondary incident.

Several major events and road closures will be taking place in Melbourne and Geelong this weekend, these include the AFL Grand Final, UCI World Road Cycling Championships and road closures on the CityLink Freeway.
VicRoads ask that drivers take care, particularly around major event sites where increased pedestrian activity will occur. We also recommend that drivers allow extra time if travelling in and around these areas and if possible, take public transport.
