Hume Fwy north bound at Benalla is closed after a truck collided with the guard rail on the Broken River Bridge rupturing both fuel tanks and spreading diesel across the road.

All traffic is being detoured via the Midland Hwy through Benalla. VicRoads is currently attempting to open one lane past the scene.
