UPDATE: Thursday 13, 2.00pm Due to flood conditions the Great Ocean Road REMAINS CLOSED between Lorne and Skenes Creek Detour routes remain in place. Crews are on site working to clear the scene. At this stage it is expected that the road will be re-opened later today. Any decision to open the road will need to take into account expected weather over the next 24 hours, and our ability to provide a safe road condition. At Lorne traffic is being diverted up Deans Marsh Lorne Road and Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Roads. At Skenes Creek traffic is being diverted up Skenes Creek Road and Forrest Apollo Bay Road. At Lorne traffic is being diverted up Deans Marsh Lorne Road and Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Roads. At Skenes Creek traffic is being diverted up Skenes Creek Road and Forrest Apollo Bay Road. Traffic is reduced to one lane in some sections and traffic controllers are on-site to manage traffic flow.
