Hume Freeway near Depot Road has the left lane closed south bound due to a truck that has lost its load.
VicPol and VicRoads are on site directing traffic. Expect delays if travelling through the area.

Road Closed - Vehicle Collision
The southbound carriageway of the Hume Freeway is closed at the Violet Town interchange due to a serious collision. Police are directing traffic. Melbourne-bound traffic should use Murchison-Violet Town Road and Goulburn Valley Highway to return to the Hume freeway near Seymour. The closure is under the control of Victoria Police. The Hume Freeway will re-open once investigations are complete and it is safe to do

All soutbound lanes closed south of Avenel-Longwood Road, Longwood due to a fallen tree. Emergency services are attending and are detouring traffic. For travel between Euroa and Avenel, please consider detouring using Murchison-Violet Town Road and the Goulburn Valley Freeway.
